立体講談とは、複数の講談師が登場し照明や道具、音楽などの演出を加えた講談です。神田陽子による、おなじみの『牡丹灯籠』に神田桜子、神田陽乃丸が加わりました。

Peony Lantern in 3D Koudan

Our master Kanda Sanyo II invented the 3D Kodan. Back then we were still opening performers. When our master performed a kaidan at the Shinjuku Suehirotei Theater, he assigned us to each character like Otsuyu, Omine, or Oyone and we'd come in and out. That's why he named it Three-Dimensional Kodan. Also in The Treasury of Loyal Retainers, each of us would act as a character like Yozei-in, Koubai, and Todanotsubone. as he'd act as Oishi Kuranosuke, As we'd come and go, acting around the master in the center, that's why he named this form a Three-Dimensional Kodan. But we call it 3D Kodan nowadays. I hope you enjoy our 3D Kodan.
